Following its closing ceremony in the Iranian capital Tehran on December 1, the International Resistance Film Festival (IRFF) will start touring other countries in the form of ‘Resistance Film Week’, in line with promoting the culture of resistance and globalizing the productions on condemnation of wars and the repercussions of armed conflicts in the world.
In addition to several programs and screening of a number of documentary and short films, the film week program will also include the screening of four features, including ‘Under Water Cypress’ directed by Mohammad Ali Bashe Ahangar, ‘The Lost Strait’ directed by Bahram Tavakoli, ‘Midday Adventures’ by Mohammad Hossein Mahdavian, and ‘Emperor of Hell’ Parviz Sheikh Tadi.
The IRFF has so far organized 47 film weeks in various countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Finland, Nigeria, India, Syria, and Lebanon.
